Perinatal emotional wellbeing
Supporting emotional wellbeing across fertility, pregnancy & early parenthood
Antara is a perinatal emotional wellbeing initiative supporting individuals and families through fertility, pregnancy, birth, and the transition to parenthood. While medical care addresses physical health, many people also navigate emotional, relational and psychological changes during this period. Antara complements healthcare through psychoeducation, facilitated discussions, workshops and wellbeing programs — helping parents feel informed, supported and emotionally prepared.
Why emotional wellbeing matters
The journey to parenthood often brings uncertainty, shifting identities, changing relationships, difficult decisions and increased emotional demands. Through evidence-informed programs and facilitated conversations, Antara creates opportunities for individuals and families to:
Emotional preparedness
Build readiness for fertility, pregnancy, birth and postpartum transitions.
Strengthen relationships
Improve communication and support within couples and families.
Understand common experiences
Normalise emotional challenges during the perinatal period.
Build support systems
Develop realistic expectations and meaningful support networks.
Safe reflective space
Access a supportive environment for reflection and learning.
